Graduate School Planning
USD Career Services assists students with graduate school planning in two ways: through individualized career counseling sessions and by sponsoring an annual Graduate School Fair.
Career Counseling: Students typically use individualized sessions to examine motivations for attending graduate school, to assess choices of graduate schools, to receive assistance in preparing applications, and to practice their skills in mock graduate school interviews. Graduate and Professional School Presentations
Graduate and professional school recruiters often visit campus to offer information sessions about applications, admission standards, and courses of study. Students can ask questions and get advice on how to prepare an effective graduate school application as well as specific program requirements. These information sessions generally are scheduled through USD's Pre-Health Counseling office or USD's Pre-Law Advisor.
