Adventures In Service

Career–oriented “Adventures in Service” events are held on campus each semester. These events promote interaction between students and a variety of service, non–profit and governmental organizations. Students interested in internships and long–term volunteer opportunities are invited to attend and speak with individual representatives from each organization.

Adventures in Service (Fall 2011 - November 15)

The fall semester Adventures in Service program was held Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 12:15 – 2:00 p.m. in the UC Forum C. This annual program spotlights non-profit and government organizations offering regional and long-term internship and service opportunities. Organizations that participated in the Fall 2011 event are listed below.

Adventures in Service: Careers with a Conscience (Spring 2012 - March 20)

The annual spring semester Adventures in Service: Careers with a Conscience program will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in UC Forum A. This program features a panel of USD faculty, staff and alumni sharing personal stories of their long-term volunteer experiences. Speakers include those who have participated in Augustinian Volunteers, Americorps, Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Peace Corps, and Teach for America.
