Get Involved with Prevention and Education Efforts
Are you interested in raising awareness and bringing an end to sexual and relationship violence? If so, become a part of USD’s prevention education efforts! Throughout the year the USD community creates a variety of initiatives and events across campus designed to provide education, resources, and support to our campus community pertaining to sexual assault and relationship violence.
- Volunteer to be a part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) in October or Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) in April – for more information contact the Women’s Center: email@example.com
- Host a 90-minute workshop on dating violence awareness and prevention in your community (Peer Facilitation training for this workshop also available).
- Request a workshop on healthy relationships, consent, bystander intervention, or other topic for a class, student group, or event.
- Apply to be a Peer Educator and take on a leadership role in educating the USD community – for more information contact the Center for Health and Wellness Promotion: firstname.lastname@example.org
