How do I find information about a person on campus?
Click here to Find People. This search engine allows you to search faculty/staff and students by name, email, extension or department. It will give you the person’s full name, email address, extension, location of office and position.

What are the hours of operation?
Offices are generally open 8:30am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with the exception of holiday breaks. Each department, store, dining area, and athletic facility has its own specific hours of operation; call Information for details (619) 260-8888. The Sports Center offers an up-to-date hotline for open pool and gym hours (619) 260-4601.

How do I schedule a room?
The office of Campus Scheduling, located in the Hahn University Center, schedules rooms for registered student groups, faculty, staff, and off-campus groups in most areas on campus by calling 619-260-4592 or email scheduling@sandiego.edu.

How far in advance can I book a room?
Campus Scheduling never books more than a year in advance and does not keep a waiting list. Generally, the calendar for the upcoming academic year opens the first week in May the spring prior. Classrooms are booked one semester in advance. No waiting list will be kept and early requests will not be accepted. Dates to reserve a classroom are as follows: fall reservations can be requested the first week in May prior, spring reservations November 1 prior, Intersession August 1 prior and summer February 1 prior.

How do I find out information about an event?
Campus Scheduling has information for all scheduled campus events regarding time, location, event name and sponsoring department. For an agenda, event detail, ticket information and questions or comments, contact the sponsoring department directly.

What tickets does the University Center ticket office sell?
The Hahn University Center Ticket Office sells discount tickets to a variety of San Diego attractions including: Legoland, SeaWorld, The San Diego Zoo and The San Diego Wild Animal Park. You can also purchase discount Magic Mountain tickets, a variety of movie theatre tickets as well as public transit passes. In addition, tickets to some on-campus events are sold through the ticket office with the exception of events in the Jenny Craig Pavilion; the JCP houses its own ticket office. How do I hang a flyer/poster in the Hahn University Center?
All signs must be approved in the University Center Operations & Special Events office located behind the Information Desk in UC210. You are allowed 3 stamped and approved signs. Restrictions apply; call (619) 260-4796 for details.

How do I arrange catering for my event?
First, you must reserve space for your event. University's award winning Banquets & Catering department, as well as Dining Services, are the exclusive caterers of the University. If you are an on-campus group or your event is being sponsored by an on-campus group, complete a request form or have your liaison complete a request form well ahead of time by visiting http://www.sandiego.edu/catering. If you are an off-campus group, contact your event coordinator to make arrangements.  Completed orders are due no less than 10 working days before your event.

How many people can be accommodated at my event?
Depending on the set-up, the largest room in the Hahn University Center can accommodate up to 350 people in auditorium style seating.  Large conferences are difficult to arrange during the academic year, but if you are interested in having a conference over the summer with boarding accommodations, please contact the Summer Camps & Conferences Office by phone at (619) 260-4623 or by email: summer@sandiego.edu.
