Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Learn the highly effective ground fighting/grappling methods from Brazil. Numerous chokes, arm locks, escapes, defenses and strategies are worked from a variety of different angles and positions. This is a fun, physical class for students interested in safely learning the fundamentals of wrestling and submission from the ground. All levels welcome. Please bring a gi/kimono if you have one.
Mixed Martial Arts
This class includes a mixture of jiu-jitsu, boxing, Muay Thai, and grappling. A realistic martial arts class designed for those who are interested in growing in the sport and self-defense aspect of combat, which is MMA. All levels welcome. Please bring a gi/kimono if you have one.
Practical Martial Arts Workout (Multi Level)
A challenging and fun full-body workout. Learn practical
martial arts, from simple to advanced techniques and principles of karate
(empty-hand), tai-chi (supreme ultimate boxing), Krav Maga, judo (gentle-way),
aikido (the way of the harmonious spirit), chin-na (Chinese grappling) and
kobudo (weapons). Just as importantly, strategy and tactics for martial arts
applications will also be taught. The class is run in two concurrent sessions:
beginners and advanced. Students with prior martial arts experience are welcome
to apply for the advanced track, and will be subject to tryouts during the first
week of the semester. As students progress in class, they will have an
opportunity to earn belt ranks, up to black belt.

Learn techniques specifically designed for women to help protect themselves and develop self confidence in real praticle situtions. This class is informative and well presented.
