Fit & Active was designed to meet the fitness needs of those with a hectic schedule, or those who just want to have fun and to stay fit. You have the option to participate in various classes such as Yoga/Pilates, Boot Camp Blast, Indoor Cycling, Toning Classes, Dance Classes, and more.
Classes are offered at convenient times in the Mission Café and Fitness Center 1st Floor Exercises Classroom (CFC-108), unless otherwise noted. Take the classes that best suit your needs and schedule and go as often or as little as you wish.

- No monthly or weekly rates for this program in Fall or Spring semester

Refund policy:
100% refunds may be issued within a week from the date of purchase. After a week from the date of purchase, no refunds will be issued (pro-rated refunds MAY be issued at the discretion of the department on a case by case basis). All refund requests should be submitted to serenaboyd@sandiego.edu.

Class Descriptions
| Abs & Toning | Tone your entire body using bodyweight and balance exercises that emphasize core muscles |
Boot Camp Blast |
Tone up or slim down with this fast-paced total body workout targeting the core, coordination, and cardio activities. |
| Have a Ball | A fast-paced class that helps burn fat and blast calories. Includes a variety of holding-the-ball standing moves and rapid rolling-on-the-ball push-up motions (engaging arms and core). End of class segment features a Pilates based ab work on the ball. |
| Pilates Mat | Improve your strength, flexibility, muscular balance, and relaxation with exercises focused on concentration, breathing, and muscular endurance for the abs, lower back, and legs. |
| Pilates Sculpt | This class will accelerate your heart rate and sculpt muscles with a series of isometric contractions incorporating Pilates movements and fundamentals. All levels welcome! |
| Power PiYo | Power PiYo is a unique combination of Pilates, Yoga, cardio & strength conditioning, flexibility, and dynamic balance. Learn movements that elongate muscles, strengthen the core, release tension, deepen breath and improve posture. |
| Power Yoga | Class focuses on Vinyasa style yoga that integrates core work, postural alignment, cardio, toning, and flexibility while harmonizing the breath. |
| Indoor Cycling | Sculpt your lower body and build your cardiovascular endurance in this indoor cycling workout on the Spinner Bikes *Held in SC 109 (Sports Center). |
| Ultimate Cardio Kick-Boxing | Pump up your exercise routine with this combination of kickboxing and dance choreographed to fun music for the ultimate cardiovascular and body toning workout. |
| Yoga Fire | Gain balance and composure while cultivating inner peace in this heated, deep stretching "hot" style Vinyasa yoga class. Room is heated up to 80 degrees; bring a large towel, plenty of water, and be prepared to sweat. |
| Yoga Sculpt | This unique yoga class will focus on working the entire body as it incorporates strength conditioning and Vinyasa style power flow yoga to tighten and lengthen your muscles. Incorporates core stability while using both body and hand-held weights to optimize strength and flexibility |
| Zumba Cardio Dance | Dance away calories with this fun and easy dance aerobics class! Groove to Latin beats as you sweat and tone. No dance experience needed. |
