Brazilian
Jiu-Jitsu Learn the highly effective ground fighting/grappling methods from Brazil. Numerous chokes, arm locks, escapes, defenses and strategies are worked from a variety of different angles and positions. This is a fun, physical class for students interested in safely learning the fundamentals of wrestling and submission from the ground. All levels welcome. Please bring a gi/kimono if you have one- if not, one will be provided but you must wear it for the class. |
| Mixed Martial Arts This class includes a mixture of jiu-jitsu, boxing, Muay Thai, and grappling. A realistic martial arts class designed for those who are interested in growing in the sport and self-defense aspect of combat, which is MMA. All levels welcome. Please bring a gi/kimono if you have one- if not, one will be provided but you must wear it for the class. |

Chi: Multi-Level
Tai Chi is
is a complete system for personal development that functions as exercise, meditation, and martial art. Through slow fluid movements Tai Chi Ch'uan conditions the body and deepens ones awareness by consciously using the mind, body and energy systems in harmony. Tai Chi's unhurried movement and deep concentration create a state of ‘relaxed alertness’ and impart a feeling of vitality coupled with tranquility. The movements have the look and feel of a great river, full and powerful, yet soft and yielding.The Class will foucus on the Yang 24 form movements practiced in a deliberate, relaxed, and fluid manner as well as basic push hands and applications. Upon competion of the course you will know the the Yang style 24 form aswell as graps enough of Tai Chi theory to continue in your personal sturdy. |
