Numerous chokes, arm locks, escapes, defenses and strategies are worked from a variety of different angles and positions. This is a fun, physical class for students interested in safely learning the fundamentals of wrestling and submission from the ground. |
Japanese
Samurai Martial Arts Learn the history, philosophy, and techniques of Japanese Samurai. Emphasis for this class is on meditation, positive Bushido principles, health and fitness, self-defense, awareness, mental discipline, Zen and flexibility. Includes strength, endurance and physical measurements at the first session, the middle session, and the final session for comparative analysis. |
Karate: Multi-level
Learn the authentic Japanese
art of Karate Do. Class goals include; improving concentration and
coordination, fine tuning physical and mental skills, and developing
self confidence. Karate training improves flexibility, strength and
self discipline. |
Kendo |
Kung Fu Learn the fundamentals for personal development, increased awareness and simple common sense methods of conflict avoidance and self-defense. Students of Kung Fu will learn a concise set of principles that can be used to quickly develop skill and understanding of this functional method of self-protection. Classes consist of forms, practice, partner drills and practical hands on techniques. |

Tae
Kwon Do: Multi-Level
The ancient Korean martial art of Tae Kwon Do presents a philosophy
of self defense. This course encompasses both the eastern philosophy and traditional fashion;
however it is explained through the western science of sports medicine.
