Fitness Programs

AQUATICS and SWIMMING
USD aquatics has several components, including on-campus classes (such as swimming, scuba, lifeguarding, etc.), masters swim program, waterpolo club, swimming lessons, and classes offered by the Mission Bay Aquatics Center. Classes and programs vary from semester to semester; check the current class schedule.

MASTERS SWIM
Masters swim is a comprehensive swimming workout program, intended for advanced beginners up to competitive swimmers. Workouts are designed by an on-deck coach who leads each session. Masters swim practices are held Monday through Thursday evenings, from 6:30-8:00pm at the Sports Center Pool.You may attend as many workouts as you like, and come and go at your own discretion during the workouts.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURES WATER SPORTS
The Aquatics program works closely with the Outdoor Adventures program to offer both pool and open water classes, such as canoeing and kayaking.

YOUTH SWIM LESSONS (SUMMER)
We offer swim lessons for both Tots (ages 3 to 5 ) and Youth (6 years and up). The tot program offers four levels of instruction.
