Time Requirements and Objectives
The AACSB-accredited MSEL degree is awarded to students upon successful completion of 19 sequenced courses, for a total of 36 graduate credit hours.
Classes meet one Friday, Saturday and half-day Sunday a month for 22 months with the exception of a one-week initial session, the week-long study abroad course and two Thursday, Friday, Saturday and half-day Sunday sessions.
The program emphasizes understanding and developing the leadership skills necessary for success in a variety of organizational contexts.
Each course in the sequence builds upon the knowledge and skills gained in prior coursework. This carefully coordinated and highly integrated curriculum provides participants with a consistent focus on leadership theory and practice, ranging from self-leadership to leadership that transforms organizations.
To accommodate the demanding schedule of our executive students, we provide a course schedule that allows effective planning for weekend sessions.
