San Diego MBA students and faculty have the opportunity to explore global business practices through a number of different study abroad programs. USD's global learning opportunities are coordinated through the Ahlers Center for International Business.
Over half of University of San Diego MBA students take advantage of the opportunity to study abroad or complete an international consulting project. Students apply international business concepts in real-world situations through a five to seven day intensive international consulting project. In January 2014 students participated in more than ten consulting projects across the globe in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Shanghai, China; and the Dominican Republic.
Students may participate in courses that range from one to three weeks in various locations around the world during USD's January Intersession and Summer Sessions to gain insight into international business practices, organizations and strategies.
Students are welcome to spend a semester or more abroad with our exchange partners in Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America.
MBA Career Services and the Ahlers Center for International Business work together to generate international internship and funding opportunities for San Diego MBA students.
MBA students may enroll in a dual degree program in which they take 30 units of coursework at USD and complete their remaining requirements at one of our partnering institutions to complete two master's degrees in two years.
