San Diego MBA students and faculty explore global business practices through a number of different study abroad opportunities. The world is USD's classroom. USD's global opportunities are coordinated through the Ahlers Center for International Business.
Students have the opportunity to apply international business concepts in real-world situations through a five to seven day intensive international consulting project. In January 2011 students participated in consulting projects in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Munich, Germany; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Shanghai, China; and Singapore.
Students may participate in courses that range from one to three weeks in various locations around the world during USD's January Intersession and Summer Sessions to gain insight into international business practices, organizations and strategies.
Students are welcome to spend a semester or more abroad with our exchange partners in Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America.
MBA Career Services and the Ahlers Center for International Business work together to generate international internship and funding opportunities for San Diego MBA students.
MBA students may enroll in a dual degree program in which they take 30 units of coursework at USD and complete their remaining requirements at one of our partnering institutions to complete two master's degrees in two years.
