Three-Part Seminar: December 5, 12 and 19 *Save $175 by registering for the Global Business Strategy certificate. For $1,995 you can enroll in 50 seminar hours to receive this certificate.  Explore what it is like working in and leading multicultural teams in international contexts. You will learn about international team process and development, including the types of diversity in teams, the inherent advantages and disadvantages of multicultural teams, the conditions necessary for high-performing multicultural teams, and guidelines for leading culturally diverse teams. Learning methods include self-assessment, lecture/discussion, case studies, process observation, experiential exercises, and 360-degree feedback. Participants will take-away an increased awareness of the complexities involved in multicultural teams and a variety of concepts and tools to facilitate their effectiveness for leading them. Seminar Learning Objectives:
Seminar Leader: Dr. Phil Hunsaker is professor of Management in the School of Business Administration at the University of San Diego. He has written over one hundred articles in academic and professional journals, and nine books on management and organizational behavior. Dr. Hunsaker has provided seminars and consulted with many national and international organizations such as Coca-Cola, Qualcomm, the Australian and New Zealand Institutes of Management, Atlantic Richfield, General Dynamics, J.I.Case Co., Mead-Johnson, American Honda, and Alyeska Pipeline Company. He as been a Distinguished Visiting Professor in the Executive MBA Program at the University of Auckland in New Zealand, and a faculty member at Bond University in Australia, the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee, California State University-Northridge, the University of Southern California, the University of California-San Diego Leadership and Management Program, and the Institute for Quality and Productivity. He has also taught graduate courses at the International and Comparative Law Institute in Paris, France.
