Working on their own or partnering with public agencies and nonprofit organizations, a growing number of firms seek to actively contribute to the betterment of society. New business models are emerging to build future markets by providing goods and services geared to the needs of heretofore excluded populations. Directions now being shaped will have profound effects on future generations.
