Join us for the distinguished lecture series, Breakfast at the BMC, featuring Janet Yellen, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.

Yellen took office as president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco in 2004. As a 2009 voting member of the Federal Open Market Committee, Yellen brought her district’s perspective to policy discussions in Washington, D.C. Yellen is professor emeritus at the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, where she was the Eugene E. and Catherine M. Trefethen Professor of Business and Professor of Economics and has been a faculty member since 1980. She has written on a wide variety of macroeconomic issues, while specializing in the causes, mechanisms and implications of unemployment.
