| Message | You are an entrepreneur. You may have even created a small business. What are the critical next steps to take your business idea to a successful new venture?
Participants will leave the seminar having learned the process of raising capital from venture capitalists, from initial pitch to exit strategy. Through a series of lectures, cases and practical exercises, this seminar will provide you with a clear understanding of starting up and financing your new venture. Seminar Dates: Tuesday, April 28 and May 5, and Thursday, May 14, 2009 Seminar led by Dennis Zocco, Ph.D., a professor of Finance and Director of the Master of Science in Executive Leadership degree program. Dr. Zocco's prior business experience was as a systems engineer and sales executive with the IBM Corporation and a consultant in the business and financial industries. This seminar is part of the Professional Certificate in Global Business Strategy sponsored by the Ahlers Center for International Business. Seminars can be taken individually or complete a series of six to earn the Certificate. Evening seminars facilitate completion of the program in as little at seven months. |
