Title	USD Hosts Business Strategy Competition

Message	Nineteen teams from around the world, including teams from USD, will be competing in the Business Stategy Competition. During the competition, teams will respond to real-world business dilemmas such as global economic crises, higher production costs, declining earnings, and/or labor strikes. Using a computer-generated model, teams have been competing remotely since February, but the most intense phase of the competition occurs during the three days in San Diego, when senior executives from Motorola, Ernst & Young and other firms will judge the teams’ performances and select the winners.
