| Message | Fox 5 News -- Facing a $122 million budget deficit and the prospect of more cuts on the horizon, administrators with the San Diego Unified School District are getting into the real estate business. The question is whether this is a business model that can work. "How do you get rid of them? That's another question," said Prof. Norm Miller of University of San Diego's Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate. "If they have some parcels that would be suitable for retail and multi-family, it's not bad timing," Miller said. (Full Story) |
