Economy at 'Half-Time,' Banker Tells Realty Heads

San Diego Union-Tribune -- The U.S. economy is at "half-time" with a way to go before distress disappears, U.S. Bank Chairman Richard K. Davis told a real estate conference Friday.

Speaking to the 16th annual roundup sponsored by the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate, Davis likened the economy to a locker room between halves, where players are "positioning to win."

"One thing about halftime is you have hindsight," he told the 700 attendees at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. "You can use that to create insight and you can go to the next step." (Full Story)
