| Message | San Diego Union-Tribune -- Three of the four leading candidates for mayor turned to land-use issues Wednesday, favoring reform of permit processing but not committing to big spending to get the city out of a chronic infrastructure maintenance deficit. Councilman Carl DeMaio, District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis, and Assemblyman Nathan Fletcher, all Republicans, engaged in a polite exchange at a two-hour forum sponsored by the local chapter of the Urban Land Institute.
