Visiting Professor in Economics, One Year Position

The University of San Diego invites applications for a one-year position of visiting professor in the School of Business Administration for the 2010-2011 academic year, beginning Fall 2010. A Ph.D. in economics is expected, and the rank of the appointment will be consistent with the applicant’s qualifications. Teaching areas are somewhat flexible, but our areas of particular interest include principles, managerial economics, intermediate macroeconomics, and/or statistics for undergraduates. Evidence of strong teaching ability is essential. The expected teaching load will be three courses per semester. Research interests will also be a consideration. Please send a letter of application, CV and documentation of teaching experience to professor Dirk Yandell. Also arrange to have three letters of reference submitted on your behalf. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until an appointment is made. The University of San Diego embraces diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
