Dr. Riedy is the Executive Director of the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate and the Ernest W. Hahn Professor of Real Estate Finance at the University of San Diego. As the founder of the Burnham-Moores Center and the first person to hold the Hahn Chair, he brings a wealth of practical experience to his academic role. He is responsible for developing an extensive range of academic and industry courses, seminars, and lecture series emphasizing the importance of real estate and real estate finance to the regional and national economies. Through his leadership, the Center’s Master of Science in Real Estate and undergraduate major in real estate have flourished and contributed to the Burnham-Moores Center’s formal recognition as a “Center of Excellence” by the University of San Diego. Dr. Riedy and his management team have recruited more than 100 senior real estate and financial services executives who serve on the Center’s four industry committees. Members provide the financial support and professional expertise that have elevated USD’s academic and industry programs in real estate to nationally respected and recognized levels and developed students who rapidly are emerging as leaders in the real estate profession.
