James Kohl's research interests are in Failure Analysis, Coatings for Gas Turbine Engine Components, Silicone Coatings, Tribology, and Adhesion. He has significant industry experience, including serving as vice president of Airfoil Operations and Engineering, technical director and program coordinator at Chromalloy Dallas.
