Washington, DC MSGL Alumni Reception
|Event Start Date||Thursday, September 27, 2012|
Clyde's of Gallery Place, Washington, DC
|Event Start Time||6:00 pm - 9:00 pm|
On Thursday, September 27 from 6 - 9 p.m. we will be hosting an Alumni and Recruitment Reception in Washington, DC, for all of our DC MSGL alumni, friends and prospective students. The event will take place at Clyde's Place in Gallery Place in the 7th Street Parlour Room. We encourage you to bring anyone who might be interested in learning more about the MSGL program. This would be a great opportunity for those who are considering a graduate business degree to get current information and perspectives from graduates on MSGL as an option. If you can’t make it, and you know someone in the DC area for whom the program might be a good fit, please let us know – they also could join us at Clyde’s or we may be able to find a way to meet with them separately.
During the reception we will provide updates and exciting new developments in the MSGL Program. Also joining us on this evening is the founder and CEO of a new caffeine-free energy boost drink company called Ruckpack (www.ruckpacks.com). Major Rob Dyer, a friend of the University of San Diego and the MSGL Program, is an officer in the Marine Corps and will be sharing his experiences in entrepreneurship. Major Dyer will provide his insight on the current state of his business in such turbulent economic times. He'll discuss strategy, growth, success, failure and will provide MSGL alumni an opportunity to engage with a successful entrepreneur who has proven himself in the business sector as well as on the battlefield. Major Dyer's story was featured in Entrepreneur Magazine earlier this year. We're excited to have him join us for an evening of engaging discussion and networking.
If you're interested in attending, please register no later than Sept. 21. Clyde's is above the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro Stop, the convergence of three separate metro lines, with great ambiance and awesome American food.
