Robert Porter Lynch has been recognized for his ground-breaking work in creating "alliance architecture," and the profession’s first benchmarking studies. He pioneered the initial research in Alliance Architectures with Best Practices research beginning in 1988, followed by a long series of bench-marking studies in Alliance Formation and Management. Robert continues his quest to discover and innovate in the Strategic Alliance Profession.
Nigel Slack, Ph.D., is an expert in strategic operations excellence. He is the A.E. Higgs Professor of Operations Management and Strategy at Warwick Business School in the UK and author of influential texts in both operations management and operations strategy. He has worked closely with senior executives in a number of major corporations on their supply chain strategy development. Nigel will provide detailed insights, lessons and evidence on the four primary issues you will need to address in your world class journey.
Alan Betts is the Managing Director of HT2 Limited a blended learning company. Following a career in financial services, Alan completed Institute of Personnel and Development qualifications and an MA in Human Resource Management and moved to the Operations Management group at Warwick Business School as a Senior Research Fellow. HT2 was launched as a Warwick Ventures company in 2000. The idea behind HT2 was that it would blend the ideas of HighTech (elearning) and HiTouch (face to face teaching). Alan's chief interests are the development of web 2.0 in learning and the idea of “World Class, "which is an integral part of Alan’s doctoral work at Warwick Manufacturing Group. He is the joint author of “Operations and Process Management” (Pearsons 2009). Alan is an adjunct instructor at the University of San Diego and was elected to be a Fellow of Royal Society of Arts in 2005.
Manzur Rahman, J.D., Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of San Diego. He is an expert in multinational financial policy, corporate finance, and foreign direct investments and multinational strategy.
