Education
The Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate is committed to academic excellence. As such, we offer a major and a minor in real estate, as well as the master of science in real estate (MSRE) degree. Students may also choose to pursue the joint MBA/MSRE degree.
Industry Involvement
Students interested in exploring the real estate profession also have many options to get involved directly with industry executives and organizations in addition to their coursework. Internship and job search assistance is available.
Students can participate in:
- Industry professional meetings, either on their own or accompanied by Center staff and faculty
- Informational sessions and/or job interviews and internships with industry executives of your choice
- Off-campus visits to local real estate companies and community generated projects
- The “Shadow an Executive” program
Students can network with industry executives as they lecture in real estate classes, speak at on-campus programs and conferences, and participate in the annual Real Estate Career Expo. For more information on student services, please contact Lauren Lukens at (619) 260-7619 or John Ferber at (619) 260-7513.
