At the undergraduate level, students majoring in Business Administration may declare a major or a minor in real estate. The real estate major covers a broad range of social and economic issues in real estate and prepares students for careers in real estate investment, real estate valuation and analysis, and sales, as well as for graduate study in business. The real estate minor was designed to support and enhance the education provided by other courses and/or majors in the University. Most of the upper-division courses meet the salesperson and broker licensing requirements by the California Department of Real Estate (DRE).
