These opportunities are open to graduate students from around the world, providing a truly international experience. Each location offers a choice of graduate courses, giving participants the opportunity to study topics particularly relevant to their individual career goals.

Short-term options include our International Practicum courses taught by USD faculty abroad. The following information is for the courses. Please visit our International Practicum page for more information about this unique opportunity.

Short Term courses abroad

Students learn about the business and economic environment of the country and region they choose through course work (up to six units at each location), expert guest speakers, an integrated schedule of on-site company visits, and the opportunity to participate in socio-cultural, group activities. Business courses are taught in English by internationally recognized faculty and are fully accredited by the AACSB-International Association for Management Education.

The purpose of these programs is to expose participants via immersion to international business practice, organization, and strategy, and to sensitize participants to cultural differences that influence effective international interaction.

Admission is open to graduate students currently enrolled and in good standing at business schools around the world. Those who have completed graduate business programs are also eligible to apply. Graduate students in international relations, communications, law, engineering, computer science, and other related fields may also be accepted, but must be able to meet course prerequisites and will be asked to send additional material.
