Faculty Advisory Board

The School of Business Administration faculty includes professors distinguished for their research and contributions to the field of international business. Members of the Ahlers Center Faculty Advisory Board selected from the ranks of the SBA faculty share their expertise in setting the direction and promoting the activities of the Ahlers Center.

Hunsaker, Johanna
Known for her innovative teaching techiniques, Dr. Hunsaker has taught internationally in France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Saipan, and Spain. Professor Hunsaker has a strong interest in gender issues in the workplace, especially at the managerial level.

Kniazeva, Maria
A former journalist, Dr. Kniazeva has published in the United States, Austria, Estonia, and Russia. Her book, America Through the Eyes of a Russian Woman, has been well received both in the United States and abroad. Professor Kniazeva’s interests and expertise focus on international marketing. In particular, she is interested in global consumer perception of genetically modified food and the impact of biotechnology on consumer behavior worldwide.

Rahman, Manzur
Having studied and worked in Asia, Europe, and North America, Dr. Rahman brings a multicultural perspective to his seminar discussions. He has expertise in multinational financial policy, corporate finance, and foreign direct investments. In addition to his Ph.D. in finance, Dr. Rahman also has a law degree.

Standifird, Stephen
Dr. Standifird has been a visiting lecturer at the Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management in Warsaw, Poland and has also taught courses in Hong Kong, China, and France. His current research interests include international institutional influences and organizational reputation. He has been publish in the journals of Corporate Reputation Review, Electronic Markets, Emergence, First Monday, Global Business and Finance Review, Int’l Journal of Electronic Commerce, Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis, Journal of Emerging Markets, Journal of Int’l Business Studies, Journal of Management, Journal of World Business, Organization & Environment and Topics in Economic Analysis and Policy among others.
