Residential Real Estate Outlook Conference
The Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate's Annual Residential Real Estate Outlook Conference is a gathering of residential real estate professionals who come to hear highly regarded industry principals share their predictions for the coming year and the rationale for their expectations.
The most recent Outlook Conference was December 10, 2015, and featured Norm Miller, the Ernest W. Hahn Chair of Real Estate Finance at the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate, within the School of Business at the University of San Diego, who presented a housing forecast for 2016. Following Miller's keynote, a panel of local real estate experts discussed the state of housing affordability and its impact on the San Diego economy. Stephen Doyle '84 JD, president of Sandy Point Properties, served as the panel moderator. The panelists included: Michael Innis-Thompson, managing director of community lending at Union Bank; Nathan Moeder '98 BBA, '06 MSRE, principal at The London Group; and Deborah Ruane '14 MSEL, senior vice president at the San Diego Housing Commission.
