Short-Term Study Abroad Opportunities
The Ahlers Center for International Business at the University of San Diego (USD) sponsors short-term graduate business study abroad options in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia. These opportunities are open to graduate students from around the world, providing a truly international experience.
Each location offers a choice of graduate courses, giving participants the opportunity to study topics particularly relevant to their individual career goals.
Short-term options also include our International Practicum (consulting projects) supervised and supported by USD faculty.
Short Term Courses Abroad
Students learn about the business and economic environment of the country and region they choose through course work (up to six units at each location), expert guest speakers, an integrated schedule of on-site company visits, and the opportunity to participate in socio-cultural, group activities. Business courses are taught in English by internationally recognized faculty and are fully accredited by the AACSB-International Association for Management Education.
The purpose of these programs is to expose participants via immersion to international business practice, organization, and strategy, and to sensitize participants to cultural differences that influence effective international interaction.
