Annual Peace Summit

On Friday morning, October 4, 2013, USD hosted the 5th annual Peace and Prosperity Through Trade and Commerce Summit. This year's summit featured business leaders and innovative thinkers who shared their insight and experience on ways that business and trade can forge more peaceful and prosperous societies. The purpose of this half-day summit was to influence practice by furthering discussions on how best to engage business, government and other economic organizations in addressing the interrelationship between business and sustainable peace.
