Elaine Tagliaferri

Budget and Operations Manager

Elaine Tagliaferri has been associated with USD since 1964 and with the School of Business Administration since 1994.  As Budget & Operations Manager she oversees the SBA  budget, all accounting processes, requisitions, reconciliations, reimbursements, faculty contracts, data, records and building operations. 

Ms. Tagliaferri received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in History at USD and teaches at Palomar College in San Marcos, CA.  She has co-authored the Coronado Cinema Centennial with Dr. Ray Brandes, received the Joseph P. Howard Award from the San Diego Historical Society for A Historic Trip to Nowhere, was a website developer for America Past and Present, FlexChoice Edition (Longman 2002) and also authored the Instructor’s Manual for America Past and Present, FlexChoice Version. In addition to her academic career, she has had extensive experience as a small business owner, payroll accountant, and in the Hospitality industry.
