Jean-Pierre (J.P.) Amor, Ph.D., is associate professor of Decision Sciences in the School of Business Administration at the University of San Diego (USD). During his prior career with the U.S. Air Force, Colonel Amor was commander/director of a high technology laboratory, which managed research and development projects associated with the Strategic Defense Initiative. While in the Air Force, Professor Amor also planned and analyzed military operations at the Pentagon, at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and in Vietnam. At USD, he teaches courses in Management Science and in Operations Management. His current research interests include scheduling programs with repetitive projects and business applications of complex adaptive systems.
