Life After Earning an MBA... Now What?

Monday, April 17, 2017

First off, congratulations are in order. From late night classes, pop quizzes and real life applications, you not only survived, but graduated! So now that you’ve got your MBA degree under your belt, you may be wondering, now what?

It’s hard, but you shouldn’t expect a promotion just because of your new business degree. However, it would be wise to sit down with your boss and discuss your professional development plan. Use this time to express your excitement about completing your degree and how you are motivated to help the company with the new skills and tools you’ve acquired.

Think of the completion of your MBA as a way to finally use the concepts you studied in class in a real world setting. Take this as a challenge to help provide your coworkers with some of the knowledge you’ve learned, to help create the best overall working environment for the company.
