- What is the My Student Account Status Channel?
This channel allows you to request to delay payment on a balance that's covered by potential financial aid. For example, if you have $5,000 worth of estimated financial aid then you must have paid enough of your tuition and fees so that there is a remaining balance of $5,000 or less for the term. At that point, you can request a 30 day delay to pay the $5,000 in case it takes while for Financial Aid take effect. - Some of the information in My Student Account Status seems incorrect. How do I fix it?
The numbers in the My Student Account Status channel are based upon charges and statuses in the system as of right now. They are based upon certain assumptions (including that your full time/part time and housing status matches the financial aid you applied for) and some of the logic behind the calculations is extremely complicated. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact the One Stop Student team (click here for hours and location). - Why can't I request a deferment online through My Student Account Status?
Most likely you have an unpaid balance from a previous term or your estimated financial aid is not enough to cover all of your estimated charges for the current term. If you believe the channel is in error, please stop by the One Stop Student Center and they can help clarify and/or fix the situation.
