Overview

Testing is such a critical part of a large ERP implementation. To ensure that we thoroughly test all the components of the BLISS implementation, we have a separate team to coordinate all the Integration Testing.

This testing occurs in the DEV1 instance. It is the responsibility of the Testing Team to implement and execute all testing processes in this instance and to certify all changes before they are moved to Production.

The team is composed of representatives from the Technical Team, Instance Management team, Change Issues Management team, and representatives from each of the functional modules such as Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrars and Student Accounts teams. It also include students and faculty to ensure actual users of the system are involved in the Testing.

The team maintains the BLISS test area and ensure all computers are functional so that when teams come there to test things go smoothly. The team also ensure that the DEV1 instance is available for testing, all problems encountered are handled expediently and passed over to the CIMS team.for further resolution as needed.

The team also provides scheduling of the test area. Please contact the Team Lead, Andrew Maller X2227 for any issues or problems with testing. To reserve a time in the testing room in the back of Maher 151, please check the calendar pinned up in the area.
