Associated Students Vice President

Hello fellow Toreros!

My name is Coral Anderson, and I am thrilled to serve as your Associated Students Vice President for the 2013-2014 school year!

I am currently a senior from Sammamish, Washington and I am planning to major in finance, with International Business and Spanish minors. I have served on Associated Students since my freshman year, working in roles such as Maher senator, business school senator, commuter senator, and student life committee chair. My dedication to this organization year after year is truly inspired by my passion to serve my fellow Toreros. I am also involved with other organizations across campus including Kappa Kappa Gamma, Founder’s Club, and Women’s Club Soccer.

In my position as Vice President, I sit on the Associated Students Executive Board, and oversee five main areas of AS: Academics, Recruitment, Student Organizations, Wellness & Sustainability, and Change-Maker Initiatives. Whether you are interested in obtaining a research grant, applying for honor council, running for office, joining one of our 170+ clubs and organizations, or improving our campus's wellness and sustainability efforts, these directors and I are willing and able to aid you!I am also responsible for the coordination of all academic matters pertinent to students, and serve as the student liaison to administration, particularly the provost.

As we go through the year, I encourage each of you to pursue involvement, cultivate friendships, let your torero pride shine, and take advantage of the innumerable opportunities that USD has to offer. Ever since walking onto our beautiful campus on day one and meeting smiling faces around every corner, I knew that my time at USD would truly be the best four years of my life, and I have not been disappointed. As your Vice President, I promise to strive to ensure that these are the best four years of your life, too.
