Associated Students Vice President

Hello Toreros!

I am thrilled to serve as your AS Vice President for the 2014-2015 school year! I am a senior from Las Vegas, Nevada majoring in Biology with a Chemistry minor. I previously served as the AS Director of Student Organizations and as a member of the AS Budget Committee. Apart from my involvement with AS, I am a member of FUSO, the United Front Multicultural Center, Sigma Phi Epsilon, The Scoop on ToreroLife, and University Ministry. I have experienced both sides of involvement as a general body member and on an executive board, so I have a deep passion for leadership development and enhancing the USD experience.

I have seen so much positive growth on this campus, and I look forward to continuing my work with student organizations, departments, and most importantly YOU! As Vice President, I serve as the student liaison to administration in all undergraduate academic matters. Additionally, I oversee five areas of AS: Academics, Wellness, Sustainability, Changemaker Initiatives, and Recruitment. Through my own USD involvement, I have gained so many perspectives on student life and issues surrounding it. From inclusion and diversity to mental health awareness, I encourage you to get a feel for the current campus climate and voice your concerns.

As we enter another school year, I urge you to engage our USD community through our student organizations and take advantage of the many opportunities this University has to offer. Take time to pause and reflect on your personal development as a professional, a leader, a Changemaker, and a Torero. I am truly grateful for my USD experience thus far, and it is my hope that this community becomes a home away from home for all Toreros.

Please feel free to stop by the AS offices on the 3rd floor SLP to chat!
