Fellow Toreros,

It's with great excitement that I welcome you all to the 2011-2012 year here at the University of San Diego! I am incredibly honored to represent you all as your President for this upcoming academic year. Thank you so much for entrusting me with this opportunity to work on your behalf to make this year the best one of our lives! Throughout my time as a part of Associated Students, I've worked alongside some amazing administrators, faculty, and student leaders. Their hard work and dedication towards our University and the well-being of its students was an inspiration and I'm excited to put everything they've taught me into practice this upcoming year.

Our AS Team worked diligently over this past summer to fine tune our organization and I'm confident that this year will produce even greater results. The Associated Students Team is dedicated towards enriching the experience of every student here at USD. I'm confident that this year's group of exceptionally diverse, talented men and women will guide the University of San Diego towards becoming a more open, accepting, and fulfilling home for us all.

This year I invite you all to attend the various meet and greets that will happen frequently throughout the year and will bring Associated Students out of the offices and onto the Plaza! Utilize these opportunities to converse with myself and other members of the AS Team and help us learn different ways in which we can serve you better. On top of that, please do your best to attend the traditional events that make everyone's experience at USD an unforgettable one. Homecoming, the Alcala Bazaar, athletic games, and concerts all bring our community together in the most fun environment possible.

I was elected to this position by you all, and to that end, I will commit myself to tirelessly working on YOUR behalf. I'm an active member of the USD community and am well connected to people and issues from multiple sectors of our campus. However, I will never be able to personally observe all of the challenges facing each and every individual at our University. So please, whenever an issue, complaint, or suggestion arises, contact me or another member of Associated Students and we can work towards responding and improving every student's way of life!
