Associated Students Expenditures AY 2016-2017

Finance Chair

Christian Oertli

Hello Toreros!

My name is Christian Oertli and I am excited to be serving as the Associated Students Finance Chair for the 2018-2019 school year. I am currently a junior majoring in Accountancy and Finance. Previously, I have served as the Associated Students Controller where I assisted in the allocation of funds to the various clubs and organizations on campus. In addition to Associated Students, I am also involved in both Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity and Accounting Society/Beta Alpha Psi.

As Finance Chair, my main responsibility involves managing the student activity fee budget. The process by which the budget is allocated is determined by the Associated Student Budget Committee (ASBC) and the Finance Committee.

Given my background and involvement on campus, I have gained substantial experience in understanding how an organization functions and some of the challenges that may be faced along the way. My goal is to ensure the widespread availability of funds to all clubs, organizations, and centers on campus, while maximizing resources and promoting transparency between the finance department and the overall student body.

I hope to support and empower students in all their endeavors and I encourage everyone to reach out with any questions they may have.

Associated Students is here to help the student body in any way we can!
