Conference Proposals

We are excited about the 2018 conference theme: "Visioning Contemporary Catholic Higher Education: Preparing Changemakers to Confront Today's Urgent Challenges." It is our hope that this year's theme will lead to conversations about how our work contributes to the development of students as contributors to positive social change. The conference committee invites all to share your events, programs, policies, initiatives and practices by presenting at this summer's conference. Please read on to learn about the program guidelines and process for submitting a proposal.

Guidelines:

Please include the following information in your proposal:

  • Primary presenter's name (first, last), institution, position, full address, email, and daytime phone number
  • Session title
  • Brief description of session to include in conference schedule booklet (up to 150 words)
  • Connection to conference theme: "Visioning Contemporary Catholic Higher Education: Preparing Changemakers to Confront Today's Urgent Challenges" (up to 150 words)
  • Promotion of the "Principles of Good Practice for Student Affairs at Catholic Colleges and Universities" (check all that apply)
  • Presentation outline, format and method of delivery (up to 150 words)
  • Intended audience (professionals new to Catholic Higher Education, seasoned professionals, all, etc.)
  • Include any presentation requirements, such as:
    • Audio-visual needs (all rooms will be equipped with computer/LCD projector)
    • Room set-up requests (round tables, lecture style, etc.)
    • Co-presenter(s) information (name, university, and position)
