USD offers a paralegal certificate program that trains individuals to work as skilled members of a legal team in banks corporations, government agencies and law firms. Intensive three-month day programs and eleven month evening programs begin every September, February and June. The program is approved by the American Bar Association and has been in existence since 1975. USD undergraduates may take the program for upper division elective credit toward their degree.
