The Portland Alumni Chapter is the most recent chapter for the Alumni Association at USD and has been very successful since its relaunch in 2007. The chapter serves alumni throughout the state of Oregon and the southernmost counties of Washington State. The chapter hosts 5-6 annual events including a variety of networking events, community service events, family friendly options and Torero athletic pre-game parties.

Join the Portland Alumni Chapter on November 5th for a pre- art walk happy hour! The art galleries in downtown Portland, Oregon, invite you to join them on the first Thursday of every month for an evening of art, wine and music. Walk from gallery to gallery to view all of the new art exhibits. Also, this will be a great opportunity for you to connect with fellow USD alumni in the Portland area. In these challenging economic times fostering your network is at the utmost importance, so you are encouraged to attend and use this event to make professional connections as well as reconnect with your USD friends!
The happy hour will consist of networking with alumni in your area as well as a brief update from campus. Also, please remember to bring your business cards with you to share with fellow alumni as well as to be entered into a drawing to win free USD alumni gear!
This event will be in the heart of Portland's Pearl District at Silk on 1012 NW Glisan. Drink specials will be available at happy hour prices.
This year, the University of San Diego will commemorate six decades of unparalleled success in the advancement of education, intellectual development and community stewardship. Information about the 60th Anniversary of USD will be available at this event.
