The Las Vegas Alumni Chapter is one of the USD Alumni Association's most engaging and long-standing chapters serving alumni in southern Nevada, southwest Utah and northwest Arizona. The chapter hosts 3-4 annual events including networking events, Torero athletic pre-game receptions and community service events. Allison Cordova has called Las Vegas her home for 10 years. She graduated from Bishop Gorman High School in 2003 and soon after, gladly left the desert for the beach. She graduated from USD in 2007 with a B.A. in Communication Studies & Spanish. After graduation Allison worked as a journalist in Eastern Washington for nearly 2 years. In mid-2009, she made her way back to Sin City and currently works for Nevada H.A.N.D., Inc., a non-profit organization.
