Central Coast
The Central Coast Alumni Chapter was established in August 2011 and serves nearly 1,000 USD alumni living in Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo counties. The chapter plans to host 3-4 annual events including networking, social and and community service events. Alexandra Smith immigrated to California from Connecticut with her whole family in 2003. While Alex studied English and Leadership at USD, her family settled in Santa Barbara. She graduated in 2007 with a BA in English and promptly moved to London, England on a work visa. After filling her passport with travel adventures, Alex returned to Santa Barbara and currently works for Citrix Online. Alex also works in youth and college ministry at All Saints-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church.
