Affinity Reunions
Affinity reunions at the University of San Diego are special reunions for a variety of constituent groups:
- Athletics
- Student Club or Organization
- Academic (major, department, school)
Typically, affinity reunions are held in conjunction with Homecoming and Reunion weekend, held annually in the fall.
In 2008, a special affinity group, Sigma Pi alumni, planned a successful group reunion over Homecoming weekend. Nearly 300 fraternity brothers returned to Alcalá Park and San Diego for the 25th Anniversary Reunion event. This extremely successful reconnected USD Sigma Pi alumni with one another and raised thousands of dollars for USD scholarships.
If you are interested in learning more about affinity reunions or are planning one and would like assistance from the Alumni Association please contact Kara Marsh '04, Associate Director of Alumni Relations as kmarsh@sandiego.edu.
