Joe Santinello is the senior programmer for the University Relations database (Advance), SmartCall Telemarketing System, and the Cognos Business Intelligence Reporting System in support of Advancement Services. He is responsible for data queries, report creation and developing interfaces between the university’s other databases and Advance. Santinello spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force as an avionics and computer systems specialist, and 15 years at California State University, Sacramento where he led the  implemention of Advance, Smart Call, and Cognos Business Intelligence for all financial, human resources, and student systems on campus.
