Carpe USDiem! Overnight Visit

Spring Overnight Visits are open only to students admitted for Fall 2009.

What is Carpe USDiem ?

Carpe USDiem gives admitted students the opportunity to experience student life at USD by shadowing a current student.

An overnight visit is an in-depth, 24-hour stay with a student host. Each guest will be matched with a current USD student who will serve as his or her host for the visit. Guests will have the opportunity to attend classes, eat in the dining facilities, and take part in social activities on campus. Meals will begin with dinner on the day of arrival and then breakfast and lunch the following day before departure. Guests will have dinner and breakfast in our all-you-can-eat Main Dining Hall, and lunch will be served at our luncheon for parents and students, which will conclude the visit. For the luncheon, each student will be allowed one guest. If additional family members will be attending, there will be a cost of $10.00 per additional person. Guests are expected to provide their own sleeping gear (i.e. sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, etc.) while they experience a typical night in our residence halls. The fee for an overnight visit is $10.00 and is non-refundable.
