Discover MyUSD: Overnight Visit

Discover MyUSD gives admitted students the opportunity to experience student life at USD by shadowing a current student.

An overnight visit is an in-depth, 24-hour stay with a student host. Each guest will be matched with a current USD student who will serve as his or her host for the visit. Guests will have the opportunity to attend classes, eat in the dining facilities, and take part in social activities on campus. Student guests will have dinner and breakfast at one of our many on-campus dining options, and lunch will be served at our Closing Luncheon for parents and students.

Spring Overnight Visits are open only to admitted students for Fall 2013.

Guests are expected to provide their own sleeping gear (i.e. sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, etc.) while they experience a typical night in our residence halls. A limited quantity of sleeping bags and sleeping pads are available to rent for your visit. Check out your options!

Cost:

The fee for an overnight visit is $10.00 and is non-refundable.
For the Closing Luncheon, each student will be allowed one guest. If additional family members will be attending, there will be a cost of $10.00 per additional person.
Acceptable payments include cash or check (made out to "USD")

Available dates for an Overnight Visit:

Our remaining Overnight programs are now completely full. We can not accept any more reservations due to host and seating capacities. If you would like to be placed on a waitlist for the program, please email overnight@sandiego.edu and we will let you know if a spot becomes available. We hope you will consider some of our other events for admitted students.

Due to limited space, we ask that admitted students only register for one overnight program. To ensure a spot, please make your reservation early.

We are sorry but we are unable to entertain special overnight visit requests on dates other than our scheduled programs.
