Preparing for your Arrival
As an overnight guest, you will be staying in one of our residence halls with a current student. Please note the following:
Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel, toiletries and change of clothes. Casual, comfortable clothing is recommended. Since your host will not have an extra mattress, you will need to be prepared to sleep on the floor. A limited quantity of sleeping bags and sleeping pads are available to rent for your visit.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is happy to provide your lodging and up to four meals (dinner your first day, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner the following day). You may want to bring a little spending money in case you want to pick up snacks or a souvenir from the Torero Store.
We have an exciting on-campus program planned and it is important that you do not leave campus during your stay. Feel free to bring books for studying.
USD is not responsible for personal property that may be damaged, lost or stolen during your visit, or for students who leave campus. Guests are expected to abide by all USD policies and state laws. (Please read Student Rules and Regulations.)
In an effort to provide an enjoyable and informative "day in the life of a Torero" experience, we expect all of our visitors to abide by the rules and policies that exist in order to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for current and visiting students. Policy violations may result in appropriate corrective action. Please be advised that you are required to sign and return a Liability Form prior to your arrival on campus. If you are under the age of 18, the liability form must be signed by your parent or legal guardian. Your participation in this overnight event will be hindered if we do not receive a properly executed form prior to your arrival. Please submit a signed copy via one of the methods below:
